Happy Halloween to everyone!
This holiday is a great way for all artist to express themselves. As a mother, I enjoy helping my daughter make her visions become reality. This year she wanted to be a horse, and after scouring the internet to find her a costume, we realized that we were going to have to create this ourselves.
A huge thank you to Etsy seller "GreenMindedWolf" for the affordable horse mask template.
From this template I was able to use paper mâché and other materials to create a realistic style masquerade mask.
We paired the mask with an all white outfit, simple pieces pulled directly from the closet, cowgirl boots, and a sheer white hooded robe we purchased from Party City. She was instantly transformed into a Ghost Horse... SPOOOOOKY!!
To make her Halloween even better, she won 1st place for most creative costume in her contest!!
